Franklin and Savannah mayors join 10 other mayors in endorsing Green

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Today, Franklin Mayor Ken Moore and Savannah Mayor Bob Shutt announced their endorsements of Dr. Mark Green for Congress.

“Mark Green served our country with honor in the United States Army and has served Tennessee with honor as a State Senator. I am confident he will continue his record of distinction as the next Congressman from the Seventh Congressional District,” remarked Mayor Moore, who has led Franklin since 2011.

Mayor Bob Shutt noted, “Like many Tennesseans in the 7th district, Mark grew up on a dirt road in a small town and understands firsthand the challenges facing our communities. He has dedicated his life to service, and I am confident he will represent us well in Congress.” Shutt was first elected Mayor of Savannah in 2000.
